Award-Winning ACCESS Receivables Management Company Develops First Animated Debt Collector on the Web

Access Receivables Management is a Blue Ribbon Small Business

TOWSON, Md., Aug. 29, 2007 -- ACCESS Receivables Management (http://www.access-receivables.com), an award-winning diversity-owned collection agency that specializes in providing first party receivables management and third party debt collection services, announced today that it has joined The InterProse Corporation (http://www.interprose.com) in Vancouver, Washington to develop VirtualACCESS, the first animated debt collector on the Internet.

This innovative debt-collecting service offers 24-hour convenience to ACCESS Receivables Management's consumers and businesses by eliminating communication with a collection representative. VirtualACCESS allows customers to pay bills, schedule payments and resolve financial disputes from the convenience of their personal computers.

Studies have shown that many debtors shy away from calling collection agencies because they are intimidated or embarrassed about their financial situation. This new service can improve the payment experience for apprehensive debtors.

Company president, Tom Gillespie, said, "This virtual collector named 'Katie' can work with each debtor to resolve a balance at any time, offering them convenience and customer service. At ACCESS, we believe that a positive approach to collections will yield better results over time; we have always tried to foster a positive approach with every delinquent customer."

"VirtualACCESS now offers us the ability to provide and offer development services to those companies that want to deploy their own virtual collection and customer service Web site. We are excited that we are now able to offer additional services to our clients in addition to our traditional third-party collection programs," said ACCESS Receivables Management CEO Debra Gillespie.

ACCESS Receivables Announces FUN DAY.

For most people in the field of collections, fun is the last word we think about when we are trying to be successful in collecting unpaid bills. At ACCESS, we have always tried to mix FUN with productivity to give our associates the best possible atmosphere to be successful. As a result, ACCESS has weekly and monthly contests as well as a FREE lunch at month end to keep everyone focused on one goal…your goal.

This month we took the month-end concept one step further. We have a FUN DAY once per week. On fun day, associates and managers can be crazy, dress up in costumes, and just have fun while we dial for dollars. ACCESS provides lunch for everyone and we have hourly contests. Contests reward our associates for numerous tasks including, most number of new payments, largest dollar amount, new money, phone activity and more. The first fun day was held on September 7th (a full moon) and the result was a 40% increase in normal productivity. In addition, we all had fun. This is just one more way ACCESS tries to be your best agency and think outside the box.
